"Come and learn" is the invitation
extended to all Leo Baeck Temple members--from pre-schoolers to their
grandparents. We offer a wealth of opportunities for adults to learn with
fellow congregants:
Every Sunday morning a group of
dedicated learners gather for Torah study;
Another group gathers for study of
various Jewish texts;
Congregants may commit to an Adult
B'nai Mitzvah class or opt for a five-week "crash course"
in Hebrew;
Book lovers study classic
contemporary Jewish literature two mornings a month and enjoy the
evening Jewish Authors Series;
Members who work in the Beverly
Hills/Century City area meet monthly for lunch and discussion of
contemporary Jewish issues with the rabbis;
Every year we present a
Scholar-in-Residence weekend of lectures and discussion with a
prominent scholar;
And there is much more--from
"Learning Through the Arts" to "What to Sing and How
- On Shabbat" to "Challah Making" in the Leo Baeck
Temple kitchen.
