At Leo Baeck Temple we believe that Jewish
education is a lifelong pursuit which enhances our Jewish experience and is
important in shaping strong and positive identities. Jewish study is more
than an intellectual exercise. We believe it can address life's
significant questions and touch the deepest part of our lives. We seek to
provide educational programs for every age, interest, and level of passion.
Whether a beginner or a serious scholar, there
is something for everyone: the annual Scholar-in-Residence weekend, a weekly Torah study class,
beginning Hebrew for adults, adult B'nai Mitzvah
preparation, monthly lunchtime discussion groups with the rabbi, book reviews,
Jewish literature groups, contemporary film evenings, and holiday workshops.
We are a learning community. Our
educational agenda is set by the creativity and commitment of our members, as we
develop new opportunities, such as intergenerational learning and experiences in
the arts. We invite you to learn with us.
