Wednesday, April 12 at 9:15am – (Note earlier time and change of speakers)
Arrive early for coffee and pastries at 9:15am – followed by our morning program beginning promptly at 9:45-11:15 with Dr. Erroll Southers – discussing “Homegrown Violent Extremism – and How it Affects the Jewish Community.” Dr. Southers is a former FBI Special Agent, presidential nominee and governor’s appointee. He is a Professor of the Practice of Governance and Director of Homegrown Violent Extremism Studies at USC Price and will discuss the “HVE” threats, offering information and analysis intended to build a more comprehensive understanding of this complex phenomenon. Then at 11:30 – General discussion and presentation by Norm Gee, LBT’s longtime COE Yoga instructor on the long-term benefits of this practice (that we offer three times a month).  Lunchtime (bring-your-own-lunch) followed by either Bridge or Yoga with Norm Gee at 1:30. All are welcome.
