Wednesday, January 11 at 9:30am (program beginning at 10)
Join us for our monthly Wednesday at the Temple (WATT)! Please note that there has been a change in the program: Judith Palarz, longtime LBT member, will be unable to make her presentation – and we hope to reschedule her soon. We will still offer a wonderful morning of speakers:
at 10:00am with Elyse Wakerman whose debut novel, A Tale of Two Citizens, was published last year; a “heart-wrenching clash of love and loyalties is a picture of an America torn between being a symbol of hope for immigrants and a proud nation fighting to re-create itself.” Her feature articles and op-ed pieces have appeared in The Los Angeles Times, The Jewish Journal, and The Los Angeles Daily News.
Then, at 11:30 Dr. Marc Milstein will discuss “How to Keep Your Memory Working Better, Longer.” Dr. Milstein will also touch on sleep issues. He specializes in taking the leading science research on human health, productivity, and happiness – and presents it in a way that entertains, educates, and empowers his audience to live better.
Followed by a bring-your-own lunch and choice of either Bridge or Yoga with Norm Gee at 1:30.
