At Leo Baeck Temple we endeavor to:
Provide a welcoming sanctuary for contemporary Reform Jewish worship, where
we study the wisdom and wonder of our religion, culture, and heritage, and where
we search for the sacred essence of the human spirit in order to create lives of
purpose;
Experience the joy, the beauty, the depth and the mystery of life, and
together, as a community of individuals and families, celebrate our traditions
and the important milestones of our lives;
Develop an island of serenity within a complex, troubled world, and govern
ourselves, to the extent that it is humanly possible, by what is rational, what
is just, and what is humane;
Challenge ourselves to help improve the quality of human existence and heal a
broken world, while guided by the values of Judaism;
And above all, we place at the very center of our being, the need to practice
integrity, respect, and compassion in our dealings with each other, and all
those we encounter along the way.
