Passover
Bag Packing and Delivery In April we will need to pack and deliver 140 bags for Passover. Please come with helping hands on Wednesday evening, April 9 at 6:30pm (Preparation of Bags) and/or Sunday morning, April 13 at 9:30am (Delivery of Bags). “This day shall be to you one of remembrance; you shall celebrate it as a festival to the Lord throughout the ages.” --Exodus 12:14 Unfortunately, there are still people in this community who are unable to heed this command. As we have done in the past, Leo Baeck Temple will provide 140 Passover food bags to the needy in our area. Please share a little of your time, energy and bounty -come share this mitzvah. Volunteers are needed to pack Passover bags on Wednesday evening, April 9 at 6:30, and especially to deliver them on Sunday morning, April 13. Please contact the Temple at 310.476.2861 or Marilyn Bendat at 310.472.3784 to participate. |
