08.10.10 Make Your Own Teshuvah Journal In this workshop, with Rabbi Rachel Timoner, we will prepare for the month of Elul by creating journals for the process of cheshbon hanefesh (accounting of our souls). We will study texts on teshuva, and begin to use our journals to help guide us as we consider how we are living, the state of our relationships, and our sense of purpose in anticipation of the High Holydays.
If you like to sing, or have ever sung in a choir and miss the friendships and joy of making sacred music, please consider giving of yourself, your time and your good energy to our LBT Adult Choir. This volunteer group is a dedicated and talented choir of congregants who come together on Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm in the LBT Music Room to rehearse. This group sings at special LBT worship services, as well as at events in the community. In addition to making beautiful music together, this group often gathers for social events and is a true “chavurah” as well as a musical group.

Current instruments include piano, bass, bass guitar, percussion, wind instruments, accordian, and violin. It is this group of talented musicians who truly make Shabbat Alive! come alive with music.
